donutI. Love. Food. And you probably do too, if you’re here. And due to that fact, I already like you.
My name is Katherine Sprung, I’m from NYC, one of the finest food capitals of the world. I’m also a person who enjoys a challenge. And so, I’ll take on personal challenges of visiting every Michelin rated restaurant in NYC, go on dessert tours, go nuts, go into a food coma, etc.
Along the way, I’ll also report on bakeries, restaurants, bars, and the like, and include any note worthy places that I encounter along my travels across the states and internationally. And yes, I will be honest.

Hungry? Let’s eat.

You can also check out my marshmallow company, Squish Marshmallows, here.

NEW mailer label

(This blog was started in October, 2013. There are other cities and venues that I’ve visited, of course, so this is a catalog of all places visited from that point on.)

  1. Hi Kathryn! Really enjoy browsing your blog for NY eats (the falafel sandwich at Taim sounds to-die-for, in fact I think I’ll have to get some falafel tomorrow for lunch or something)! I was hoping we could connect via email, would you mind sending me a message at the email address I provided? Thank you and hope to hear from you soon!

  2. ”Food Blogger Restaurant Awards”

    Hi Kathryn –

I’m working for a food blogger start-up company in NYC called Tabelog (www.tabelog.us). We’re a subsidiary of the largest site in Japan, Tabelog.com (similar to Yelp here in the US).

Over the last summer, we brought their restaurant awards to the US, which are judged solely by a panel of local food bloggers (all online) and now we are starting the summer awards. The winning restaurants get a framed 2014 award, and the food bloggers get an “Official Judge” badge and related PR for their blogs. We’re looking for bloggers from the NYC area to invite as official judges. Is this something you would be interested in?

    Thanks in advance!
    Sachiko
