The first stop on my Grand Central Tour is Pescatore Seafood Co.
Located right in the Grand Central Market, this seafood stop carries a wide variety of fresh fish.
They also have a number of prepared seafood and sides to go along with your meat without feet (I figured that a fish eye lens would be appropriate to use here).
I picked up a Wild Cod Filet, this is the before.
And here is the after. Now, the final product will vary on how well you prepare it, but since I’m no stranger to cooking fish, this guy turned out wonderfully. It certainly was fresh and high in quality.
The Shorts:
Name: Pescatore Seafood Co.
Location: Grand Central Market (43rd Street and Lexington Avenue), NYC
The Long and Short: Would I go back? Yes, great selection and friendly staff.
Would I recommend it? Yes, but this merchant is best for those who are local or with cooking facilities. If you have access, then get yourself a fresh catch.
Store looks great . Clean, wide selection for take out or picking up dinner on the way home. Going to try it when in neighborhood. Thanks
great!
Love the article and love their fish!
