If you’re looking for a vibrant scene to grab some drinks or New American Cuisine, go to Searsucker in the Warehouse District of Downtown Austin.
The restaurant and bar itself is spacious, decorated with oversized lighting fixtures and lamps, giving it a really unique aesthetic. The bar has a generous amount of seating if you’re just looking to grab a hand crafted cocktail, which, I was.
I ordered the Jale Berry (strawberry jalapeño tequila, lime, agave). This drink was great. It had the perfect combination of spice and heat, and fruity sweetness. The two balance each other really nicely, neither one overpowering the other. Refreshing with a little kick.
